—More women in the United States are using IUDs now that at any time since the ‘70s. There are currently three IUDs on the U.S. market, and soon women who like their birth control easy, long-lasting, and in their uterus will have yet another option: A new IUD is about to join the party. It’s called LILETTA, and it’s a levonorgestrel-releasing IUD similar to Mirena. The FDA just approved LILETTA, so it will be a little while before it’s available from health care providers, but we’ll be getting you all the details as soon as we have them! Stay tuned…
